New
'Modular' models
launched July 2008 (Press Release)
The Danish company Chill Innovation
A/S is now launching 3 brand new ultra silent ‘Modular’
Hi-End ATX2.3 Power Supplies at
520W
(CP-520A4M), 700W
(CP-700M) and blistering
1000W (CP-1000M). The new
series offers state-of-the-art performance and industry
leading silence for even the most demanding users and
noise enthusiasts. No more excessive cables taking up
valuable space and blocking airflow – Just connect the
number of cables needed for the system!. The modularity
also offers much better flexibility for upgrades,
expansions and future cable requirements.
What really matters are the
internal design though! These new
ATX 2.3 / EPS12V
based Power Supplies are capable of running the ultimate
Duo/Quad Core based gaming systems and 24/7 servers.
Real Watt and Ampere ratings for continuous use, not
just fake max and/or peak ratings. They have full
support for the latest
PCI-Express V2.0 (6+2-pin)
and even Triple/Quad Nvidia SLI & ATI CrossFire
compliance for the ultimate gaming experience. A new
135mm Ultra Silent fan with
11 blades for maximum
airflow and lover noise levels. Industrial
Long-life ‘Low-ESR’ hi-end
Capacitors. Industry leading
engineering capable of reaching up to
+88% efficiency
depending on model/load. A
remarkable low ~1W Standby
consumption and Active-PFC
w/ Auto Full-Range
detection. With our RoHS
(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant design
which even exceeds the environmental requirements, we
truly care about the environment - and your electrical
bill as well!. The high-end components used, combined
with the effective and over-dimensioned design, will
constantly keep output and voltage regulation tight and
ultra stable, offering the best possible foundation for
extreme overclocking, noise enthusiasts and hi-end
servers made for running 24/7.
The virtually silent operation
conditions have always been Chill Innovations key
trademark. The advanced thermally controlled fan
management system will always ensure the lowest possible
noise vs. performance ratio in the industry. Most makers
call their Power Supplies “Silent” these days, but the
fact is: The majority of brands are only able to remain
silent at idle/light load. They will cause system
temperatures to increase, so other fans just have to
work faster or finally they are just offering really low
performance. Forget cheap “silent” PSU’s with even fake
ratings and go for True
Power - No Noise!
